Join Dr. Nancy Frey, Professor of Educational Leadership at San Diego State University and co-author of the new book Visible Learning for Literacy, as she delves into how Hattie’s findings apply to literacy instruction and how educators can implement the practices that work best to accelerate student learning. Topics will include the surface, deep, and transfer phases of learning; the activities and routines that are most effective at different phases of learning; and eight key mind frames for teachers and how they apply to curriculum planning.
