New Federal Grant Funds Billions for Blended Learning: Are You Aligned?

October 17, 2016 2:00 PM ET K. Baird

The new federal education funding law, known as the Every Student Succeeds Act or ESSA, includes more than $1.5 billion dollars annually for grants which support blended learning. This marks the first time that the U.S. Department of Education has defined what “blended learning” means and put money behind the initiative.

In this engaging, data-driven session, Kevin Baird, Chairman of the non-profit Center for College and Career Readiness, will lead participants through the critical alignment activities that will help schools ensure an effective blended learning approach that aligns to the billions in new federal funding. Kevin will also share how Achieve3000 empowers both educators and students to engage in a truly blended learning experience – one that leverages innovative technology to extend teachers’ reach and empower students to spend more time on task for content-area literacy.
