Differentiate & Accelerate

Only Achieve3000 provides a patented method of online differentiated instruction that reaches all students one-on-one to accelerate their reading gains, empowering them to build the literacy skills needed to read and comprehend the complex, grade-level texts found in basal textbook programs:

  • All students read the same grade-appropriate nonfiction content, but it is automatically tailored to their individual Lexile® reading levels–with 12 levels in English and 8 in Spanish.
  • Lessons employ a research-based 5-Step Literacy Routine that develops students’ close-reading techniques and evidence-based writing skills while encouraging classroom discussion and debate.
  • Stretch articles challenge students to work with the same content at grade-level or higher text complexity.
  • Ongoing and embedded assessments continually monitor student progress, fueling an adaptive content system that automatically adjusts text complexity to meet students’ evolving needs.

When used as little as twice a week, Achieve3000 is proven to double or even triple expected learning gains in a single school year!

Reinforce & Extend

Each Achieve3000 textbook alignment course provides a customized set of lessons aligned to the topics and themes in your basal textbook program curriculum.

  • The alignment pairs a reading from your current curriculum with a nonfiction lesson from Achieve3000.
  • Talking points and text-dependent discussion questions – found in the Achieve3000 Teacher Edition – then tie the two passages together, making it easy to integrate Achieve3000 into your existing curriculum.
  • This combination builds essential literacy skills while reinforcing and extending students’ background knowledge.
  • Students are thus empowered to critically evaluate the two readings in relation to each other and reach the greater of depths of knowledge needed for success on high-stakes assessments.

Plus, because students can complete Achieve3000 lessons anytime, anywhere, and on any device – online or offline thanks to Achieve3000’s apps for iPad®, Android™ and Chrome™ – they can spend more time on task for even greater learning gains!

In addition to textbook alignment courses for English language arts classrooms, Achieve3000 offers targeted and customizable content modules aligned to International’s grade-level standards for science and social studies.
