Successful Implementation Models & Data Results

Dr. Douglas Fisher and colleague Heather Anderson discuss the challenges posed by the Common Core State Standards and share insights into how their students have experienced remarkable success using Achieve3000’s solutions. Their application of the Gradual Release of Responsibility Teaching Model, combined with a creative use of available hardware (including students’ own smart phones), has yielded tremendous benefits to all their learners—from struggling readers and English language learners to advanced students—resulting in a significant increase in their school’s Academic Performance Index.

Students using Achieve3000’s solutions achieved a 97% pass rate on the California state high school exit exam and increased their Lexile reading scores by 15%.
