ELL students believe — and achieve impressive literacy gains.
When English Language Learners (ELLs) from grades 2-12 showed gains more than 2.5 times their expected Lexile growth, administrators knew they could believe in the power of Achieve3000 solutions to make a difference in students' lives.
This year-long study examined the impact of KidBiz, TeenBiz and Empower on the literacy development of almost 19,000 students in three states. With students coming from varying backgrounds and with different levels of language skills, the results were impressive.
Overall, students exceeded their expected Lexile gains by 169 points, with high school ELL users exceeding their expected Lexile gains by an incredible 139 points.
