National Lexile Study

Students nationwide believe — and achieve double-digit Lexile growth.

The results of a nationwide, year-long study that looked at the achievement of more than 252,113 students in nearly 2,578 schools showed that after just one year using Achieve3000's KidBiz, TeenBiz, or Empower solutions, students nearly doubled their expected growth norms as measured by Lexiles. In fact, students overall exceeded expected Lexile gains by 51 points — an impressive achievement for all ages.

Just as significantly, elementary, middle and high school students who had been reading two or more levels below their grade at the beginning of the school year effectively closed the achievement gap after just one year of learning with Achieve3000. And English Language Learners (ELLs) achieved nearly 3.0 times the expected growth norms, gaining an average of 169 Lexile points.
