Struggling Newark School Sees Highest Reading Gains with Achieve3000

Featured in The Hechinger Report: With Achieve3000, struggling Quitman Street Renew School sees highest reading test score gains of all 45 Newark elementary and middle schools.

During the 2013-14 school year, 80 percent of third and fourth graders at Quitman Street Renew School in Newark, NJ were struggling readers. In the spring of the 2015, with some help from Achieve3000, students at the struggling school realized the highest reading test score gains, edging out all 45 elementary and middle schools in Newark.

“Achieve3000 allowed students to reflect, summarize and write down their reactions to articles outlining the current events happening today,” noted The Heichinger Report.
