Chula Vista Elementary School District in San Diego, Ca. has been preparing students for the rigors of the Common Core since the 2010-2011 school year, when their students first began to work with Achieve3000.
In 2015, Chula Vista Elementary students took the first Smarter Balanced assessment, outperforming all other counties in Southern California with 56 percent percent of students meeting or exceeding standards (the state average was 41 percent).
“There is no better evidence to me of the effectiveness of Achieve3000 than these stellar results,” wrote John Nelson in the January 2016 issue of District Administration.
