Founder of McClanahan & Co. Inc. and McClanahan Book Co., Inc

Susan is founder of two premier school publishing companies, McClanahan & Co. Inc. and McClanahan Book Co., Inc., and is herself the author of over fifty children's books. She personally authored several programs spanning early childhood to adult education and is presently a senior author on The Scott Foresman Reading Program. She is a member of the Board of Trustees and Alumni Chair for The Churchill School and Center, a school for learning disabled children in New York City; a Stephen Minister at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church; a University of Nebraska Master and member of the Cather Circle mentoring program for young women at the University; and a lifetime member of the CEO Club. Ms. McClanahan resides in New York City with her two teenaged daughters.
